On October 26 and 27, ICC was the gold sponsor in one of the largest symposiums on poultry gut health. The event was hosted in São Paulo and gathered the most renowned national and international researchers of the area, as well as companies of the sector. With the purpose of promoting gut health and the animal welfare in the poultry industry, the event raised discussions of high relevance with the scientific sector, regulatory authorities, and poultry farmers.

The “One Health” concept was the highlight of the event, which acknowledges that the health of human beings is connected with the health of animals and the environment. This interrelation offers the opportunity for the advent and dissemination of agents/diseases that bear an adverse impact on animal/human health, or even to both.

The event also presented research and innovative solutions to improve the gut health of poultry farming. Among the researches presented, ICC exposed the results of one of its studies “Yeast as nucleotide source in turkey diets”, presented by its R&D Coordinator, Dr. Melina Bonato.

Our teams of R&D and Sales were present in the event, seeking to update content so that we may serve with excellence both the internal and external markets.
