The company will participate in the 11th International Poultry Seminar 2019

ICC Brazil, a company which provides innovative solutions aimed at animal health and animal performance, as well as food safety, will participate in the 11th International Poultry Seminar 2019 in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from March 5th-6th.

Isabela Barros, Sales Executive for Southeast Asia & Pacific, will introduce a study which confirms the benefits of yeast cell wall supplementation in reducing Salmonella enteritidis contamination in poultry and, consequently, in their eggs.

“Yeast cell wall supplementation is a viable and efficient alternative to controlling these pathogens, and also promotes animal health in general. Its mode of action doesn’t cause bacterial resistance, which is the main cause of the increased withdrawal of antibiotics as growth promoters in animal diet,” Isabela Barros points out. Barros further explains that there have already been several scientific studies conducted in different countries with effective results in animal intestinal health and consequential benefits in the production of eggs, meat and, equally importantly, in food safety.

The study will be presented on March 6th at 4:15 pm, in Session XI – Hall 1, and will be available throughout the event at the local distributor’s stand, ACE Pharma Bangladesh.
