The event to be held in Indonesia will gather people from over 30 countries

Benefits of adding yeast-based products to diets of poultry as a replacement of growth-promoting antibiotics will be introduced by ICC Brazil at Ildex 2019 (International Livestock, Dairy, Meat Processing & Aquaculture Exhibition). The event will be held on September 18-20, in Jakarta, Indonesia, and will gather participants from over 30 countries to discuss opportunities in animal production and processing, technology and innovation.

ICC Brazil, a pioneering company in the creation of innovative solutions based on yeast additives for animal nutrition, will be represented by Southeast Asia and the Pacific Technical Manager, Dr. Ekachai Jenwitheesuk. He will give the lecture “ImmunoWall®, a natural intervention for AGP replacement & food safety in poultry,” as well as introduce the product and its benefits for poultry.

“ImmunoWall® is made of a high number of β-glucans and MOS. This ensures that animals keep the balance of intestinal microbiota and improve their immune system response, resulting in less contamination by pathogens and lower energy expenditure. Consequently, animal welfare and performance are significantly better,” says Ekachai, Veterinary Microbiologist. Market benchmark and more than 30 research published in journals, DVM, MSc, and Ph.D. in Thailand and Postdoctoral Degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, USA.

According to Isabela Barros, Southeast Asia Sales manager, Indonesia is a key market for ICC Brazil and is on the top list of countries where the company grows consistently with a strong and active customer base for ImmunoWall®. “Indonesia has been producing over 20 million tons of feed per year, and almost 40% of this production is intended for poultry. Food and meat industry in Indonesia is extremely susceptible to the ban of AGPs, which is why it has been adopting natural interventions in their productions in a very incisive way. This is a great opportunity for us, since ImmunoWall® may be used to replace AGPs, as well as to improve the health and performance of animals,” highlights Barros.

In addition to the lecture, ICC Brazil will also have a booth with Behn Meyer, its Indonesian distributor.
